Hall opening & open day in Massen
On 12 October, we celebrated the opening of our new factory hall at our Elster Werke site in Massen with an open day. Many invited guests, partner companies and, of course, the construction trades involved were present, and employees and workshop staff from the Massen site gathered in the festively decorated new hall to watch the programme.

The opening speech by Managing Director Karsten Koch and the words of Branch Manager Mr Püttmann moved the guests. Architect Mr Lange from Ingenieurbüro Lange & Partner spoke about the construction period, the difficulties and the realisation of the building project. Mr Neumann - on behalf of the district administrator - and Mr Große from the Paritätischer Landesverband e.V. praised the work and commitment of ELSTER WERKE gGmbH for people with disabilities over the years.
The ELSTERWERK facilities offer good regional opportunities and chances in our structurally weak region for the equal participation of disabled people in working life.
Welcome, dear guests
Kult!INKoffer offered an entertaining cultural programme on this day - a colourful mixture of music, percussion and poetry entertained the workshop employees, staff, parents and grandparents present, who also took the opportunity on this day to get to know the workshop workplaces in the Massen facility. There were tours of the workshops and cosy get-togethers at the various stations. Culinary delights were provided by the BlauHaus, the on-site kitchen and a barbecue station run by the Massen employees.

At the end of this exciting, thrilling day, many impressions and memories remain. We are looking forward to the improved working conditions in Massen that the new premises will bring. A big thank you goes to all those involved in the organisation and supporters on this day.
