For your information and safety
Climbing in the high ropes course is only possible by prior arrangement.
Our high ropes course is of course open to ALL. For safety reasons, however, some conditions for participation must be met.
Access requirements
A minimum age of 8 years is required to take part in a climbing tour in the high ropes course. Children under the age of 8 may only climb if they are at least 1.40 metres tall .
There are no special physical fitness requirements for climbers. However, it is essential that there are no health impairments affecting the cardiovascular system or the musculoskeletal system. Every climber must complete a health questionnaire. If you are unsure whether you fulfil the health requirements, please ask us.
Before climbing, a declaration of participation must be completed and signed (by a parent or legal guardian in the case of minors or supervised adults). If the persons concerned do not visit the high ropes course accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, this declaration of consent must be presented on the climbing day at the latest. If the declaration of consent cannot be presented on the climbing date, we reserve the right to exclude the person concerned from the climbing activity.
Safety
All our instructors are ERCA certified and trained in first aid. The facility is TÜV-certified and undergoes regular inspections at set intervals in accordance with ERCA guidelines. Our high ropes course was built by Balance, a company with many years of experience in the construction and operation of ropes courses and climbing walls. In addition to the equipment, the personal protective equipment of trainers and guests is also regularly serviced and the inspection documented.
Safety instructions for using the high ropes course
We provide the necessary safety equipment (harness and helmet) for accessing the high ropes course. The trained instructors explain how to put on and wear the equipment correctly and check that it fits properly. You will receive a safety briefing on the procedure and must follow the rules of behaviour during the climbing activity.
