"Shift change" Nationwide day of action on 10 October to discover new perspectives on the topic of participation in working life

On 10 October 2024, workshops for people with disabilities from all over Germany once again invited people to the nationwide "Shift Change" day of action to discover new perspectives on the topic of participation in working life. The sixth nationwide Shift Change Action Day enables employees from workshops and employees from companies in the general labour market to change jobs for a day, exchange ideas and discover new perspectives together.

With more than 250 workshops, more organisations than ever before have already confirmed their participation in the campaign day.

A day at the BMASin Berlin
In October, our workshop employee Marius Kuring had the unique opportunity to work at the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS) as part of the shift change campaign! The BMAS took part in the initiative for the third time to provide exciting insights into different working environments.
The campaign day is more than just a change of perspective - it creates new encounters and promotes dialogue between the generations. For Marius, it was a great opportunity to familiarise himself with how the ministry works and gain valuable experience! A big thank you to the BMAS for the warm welcome and the opportunity to experience this unique day. We look forward to the next shift changes and the opportunities and encounters they bring!
