The BBZ Im ElsterPark is assigned to the general vocational training programme (BBB) of ELSTER WERKE gGmbH. All participants are initially assessed for aptitude and personal inclinations using a certified diagnostic procedure. If participants are particularly suitable and interested in the kitchen / service / housekeeping field of work, a transfer to our VET centre is suggested.

Here, participants will then receive in-depth, specialised training in the areas of kitchen, service and housekeeping. This training process usually takes two years and is supported by taster days and internships in workshop areas or external workplaces. Our workshop employees can also take specially recognised IHK (Chamber of Industry and Commerce) modules. This means that nothing stands in the way of a career at ElsterPark and other facilities, including external work in the so-called "free economy". Trainers, skilled workers and workshop employees also see this training programme as a launch pad for their personal careers.
