On 7 July, the state championship "WfbM - Football of the State of Brandenburg 2023" will take place in Herzberg at the "Werner - Seelenbinder - Sportstätte".


These state championships for workshops with disabled people take place every year in all federal states.
As has often been the case in the past, ELSTER WERKE Herzberg is organising this tournament for the state of Brandenburg. With Cottbus, Senftenberg, Oranienburg, Templin, Wittenberge, Potsdam, Lübben, Zehdenick, Eberswalde and Herzberg, 10 teams play for the title of "State Champion".

The state champion will then travel to the national championship in Duisburg, where all the state champions will compete to determine the national champion. The Elster Werke team is made up of the best players from the Herzberg, Luckenwalde, Jüterbog, Lausitz and Ludwigsfelde branches.
